We had such a great Thanksgiving. It was small…Josh, Barbara, the kids and me, but we had a good time. Kiser and Boston helped me make the squash casserole, which was fabulous and we laid around and enjoyed the fullness of the holiday. Aren’t the boys just wonderful!
We talked about Thankfulness in church today. [...]

Barbershop
Today…Boston got his first, official, big boy hair cut Wow, he is growing up so fast. Nana Dove actually gave him his first cut, but this one was big time. Sitting in the hair chair and all. He did…ok. He squirmed and wiggled the whole time, so I am sure the cut is [...]

Lab Rats
This is hilarious. This is me and two study buddies from my microbiology lab. We look like total dorks with our lab coats and Erkel glasses, plus I am super sick. Notice my coat is blue…hideous, but FREE…b/c i got it from Josh’s work. We are trying to identify an unknown bacteria and decided to pause for [...]

driving MR. crazy
It’s amazing how fast kids learn. I showed Boston on Sunday how to drive the “neighborhood” powerwheel car. First of all, it is WAY to big for him. He almost has to sit in the floor to push the petal. Today, he figured it out and now he can do it all by himself. I [...]

Kiser “Phelps”
Kiser is the MAN!! We are still doing the year-round swimming program with the SMRT team. (Southern Marlins Racing Team) Today was Kiser’s first meet. He swam the 100m freestyle, the 25m breaststroke, the 50m backstroke and the 50m butterfly. Talk about being exhausted. It was an achievement in itself to swim that much and that distance. [...]

My heart is broken for the future of our country and for the future of our children. For the future of our military and for the future of the hard working American.
A Mercy Me song comes to mind.
Why would [...]

I count!
OK, OK. I voted today. Yea!!! Go America!!! And I voted for McCain/Palin. I feel so good about voting and that my vote really does count in the big scheme of things. I am so nervous about this election, that I will probably be up all night watching for the results. As Christians and Americans, [...]

Halloween
Ok, so here are the kids on Halloween. We decided to go to the church this year for the Halloween Carnival. Kiser (and Boston) had a good time. Best of all it was safe and full of good people who wanted the kids to have fun. Boston played a few of the games, but we [...]
